Refund policy
At HairJoy, we want you to truly love what you order. If something doesn’t feel right, we’re here to support you with a simple and transparent return or exchange process.
For any return or exchange request, an unboxing video is mandatory. The video must clearly show the sealed outer packaging, product tag, inner packaging, and the product as received. Requests without an unboxing video will not be accepted under any circumstances.
HairJoy offers a 3-day return and exchange window, starting from the date the order is delivered. Any request raised after this period will not be considered.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the product must be unused, unworn, unaltered, and in its original condition with tags and packaging intact. A one-time return or exchange is available on the original order within this window. Products received as part of an exchange order are not eligible for return or further exchange, so we recommend choosing the replacement product carefully.
Certain products are not eligible for return, but can be exchanged once if all conditions are met. These include Ponytail Clutcher, U-Shape Volumizer, Scrunchies, Front Fringe, Bangs, Clip-in Streaks, Wrap Around Ponytail, Clip-on Bun, 1 Clip Hairline Topper, and Braids. Elastic-based products, custom or personalised items, gift cards, hygiene-sensitive items, and sale items are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted if the order was placed using a cross-brand coupon, gift card, special promotional coupon, or if the product was custom-made. Products showing signs of usage, styling, colouring, washing, cutting, or damage are also not eligible.
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, the issue must be reported within 3 days of delivery, along with the mandatory unboxing video. Any concern raised after this period will not be entertained.
In the case of combo or discounted orders, refunds are calculated based on the individual product value, not the combo price. If some items from a discounted order are returned, the discount will be recalculated based on the items retained, and the refund amount will be adjusted accordingly.
For exchanges, you may choose a product of equal or lower value. If the replacement product is of a lower value, the price difference will be refunded via bank transfer only, after the exchanged order is delivered.
All refunds at HairJoy are processed only through bank transfer. UPI, wallets, or payment gateway reversals are not supported. Bank details will be requested once the return or exchange is approved.
Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is not possible. Some orders are shipped immediately and may not be eligible for cancellation.
For cancelled orders before dispatch, refunds are initiated immediately and may take 3–5 business days to reflect in your bank account. For returned items, refunds are initiated within 1–2 business days after the product is received and inspected at our warehouse.
In all cases of return or exchange, the product must be shipped back to HairJoy from the customer’s end. Customers are responsible for securely packing and sending only the approved item(s). No quality check is performed at the time of pickup or shipment, and HairJoy will not be responsible for any incorrect, missing, or additional items sent. Customers are advised to retain the physical pickup or shipping receipt as proof of dispatch until the return or exchange is successfully completed.
